Doug is the Chairman and founder of Certain Inc. His entrepreneurial drive and spirit can be traced to his Levi Strauss family history and one of the world’s great brands. As a philanthropist, Doug has served on the boards of the Goldman School of Public Policy, Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, the Goldman Environmental Foundation, and the Goldman Prize Jury. He also serves as President of the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Fund which makes valuable contributions to a variety of fields including youth, civic affairs, civil and human rights, education, environment and social and Jewish affairs and human services. Doug received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and earned his M.D. from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
Peter is CEO of Certain and has held senior roles and board positions in public and private software companies. He was president of Cognos Corp. (acquired by IBM), CEO of NativeMinds, Inc. (acquired by Verity/Autonomy, now HP), and CEO of Kinecta Corp. (acquired by Stellent, now Oracle). Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Boston College and an MBA degree from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
